Description of Services Provide six (6) Painters who can apply preparatory materials, paints, and stains to surfaces of walls, ceilings, equipment, signage and furniture. Prepares and applies appropriate materials to signage and irregular surfaces. Working conditions include restricted movement; air contamination, dirty environment, and hazardous materials. Requirements for this position Must have experience painting 2 pack to extremely high standard Prefer someone from sign industry background but not essential Use of baking oven preferred but not essential Knowledge and experience in eye matching paint colours very important Must work to high standard and under pressure Minimum of 6 (six) year’s work experience Examples of Duties Applies protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer, and/or other related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, equipment, signage, and other structures. Washes, scrapes, sands, torches, and/or smooths interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting, varnishing, lacquering or applying other related materials. Cleans equipment, paint mixing area, and work area. Maintains existing paint surfaces through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products. Identification, safe handling, and appropriate disposal of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials. Creation and application of graphics and signage layouts.
